A Message from Zeb
My name is Zeb Pent, and I am running for Fort Worth City Council District 7. I was born and raised in Fort Worth. I met my wife in District 7 at Christ Chapel Bible Church, where we got married. And, together, we are raising three energetic boys - Jude, Elliot, and Calvin - in District 7. Faith and family are the cornerstones of my life.
I've been an entrepreneur since I was 18 - trading the market, investing in real estate, and starting a successful oil and gas service business that I was CEO of for ten years. I remain self-employed now as a business consultant. As a successful businessman, I've learned some important lessons that I will champion on the City Council.
I'm not a politician and I'm not an insider. Five years ago, I spoke up to protect 86,000 Fort Worth kids from a dangerous school policy. And ever since, I've been standing for Fort Worth families alongside many of our District 7 neighbors.
I'm a Fort Worth native, avid horseman, and family guy. I love Fort Worth and I'm passionate about keeping our community a safe and happy place to live, work, and raise a family. I look forward to meeting as many District 7 residents as possible, listening to the issues that are important to you, and earning your vote on May 1, 2021.
Vision for the Future
Roads, Rooftops, and Responsibility.
Fort Worth has grown rapidly in the past ten years, and it's vital that we have roads that work to move residents, families, and workers. Over 50% of District 7 commuters travel over 30 minutes to work. I will make sure efficient, effective roads take priority over bureaucratic-planned roundabouts.
I will work to reduce property taxes and ensure that households in District 7 have a well-funded police force and fire department to protect people and property. Over 65% of the housing units in District 7 have been constructed since 2000. We need to make sure City Hall continues to empower development and not hinder it.
I pledge to fight for fiscal responsibility at City Hall. Fort Worth is an exceptional city that values cowboys and culture and faith and families. We have a responsibility to our kids and future generations to steward taxpayer funds as well as our Fort Worth values.
